CHICAGO, Mar. 15, 2005- Computer Voice Systems, Inc. (CVS), today announced it is licensing charting technology to Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the largest U.S. futures exchange, that will enhance the exchange's CME E-quotes product and market data available on the public web site (www.cme.com).
The charting software allows the CME to more tightly integrate the charting functionality into the internally developed E-quotes product with the charting now running directly from the Exchange. This now allows for faster turnaround times for upgrades to the E-quotes charting. As a further benefit, the same technology is utilized to provide the charting functionality to visitors of the CME web site.
Paul Sturm, president of CVS said "The charting technology provided to the CME is one example of our flexibility in supplying the futures industry with tailored solutions for both analytics as well as electronic trading. We are delighted that the CME looked at all the solutions available in the marketplace and decided that CVS was the one company that could best deliver that solution."
"Improving our charting technology is another step in our ongoing commitment to increase CME customer satisfaction," said Glen Madeja, Director, Information Products Management. "We want to continue to deliver excellent service for our customers, and enhancing the charts that display the market data of all CME products is part of that ongoing effort."
